Whenever my husband goes away on a work trip, I’m amazed at how tired I am from assuming all of his duties and responsibilities. Household chores, errands, tasks, and appointments are a lot for one person to handle.
For military spouses, this is nothing new. They deal with all of this responsibility for extended periods, plus they have the added stress of worrying about their spouse’s safety and well-being. I seriously can not even wrap my head around how challenging it must be.
That’s why today’s post focuses on work from home jobs for military spouses (and veterans). With all that you have on your plate, you don’t need to work outside the home and take time away from your family so that you can earn an income.
Luckily, the veteran and military spouse work initiative by Barack Obama in 2011 has seen tremendous success. More and more companies offer work from home jobs, discounts, and special training and opportunities for military spouses and veterans.
We will continue to add to this list as we find more work from home jobs that offer military initiatives.
